Samson; a man of God, a man of Divine strength, a Heavenly sent deliverer, one who is blessed and anointed by Our Creator to aid in His Glory. ___ The story of Samson serves as a reminder that all the good we are, have, and know, as well as all the good we do when we’re obedient, isn’t our own, but rather God working through and in us. The goodness that’s being done is our “Yes” to God by our choice of free will. Ultimately, the story of Samson serves as a reminder of his humanity through his own sinful downfall. God then showed His loving faithfulness by turning an ugly situation of sin, and using Samson to save the Israelites, His chosen people, for redemption. Again, it’s not our goodness, but it is God. Thanks be to you, oh God, forever.
